My Remote red blinks and doesn't seem to properly charge.
Symptom and description
It may happen that one of your Remote’s LED strip continuously red flashes. This could indicate that the Remote cannot properly charge. You may not be able to link the Remote to the Receiver.
If you are facing this problem, make sure it is persistent and that it is not related to an underpowered unit.
If the Remote only blinks intermittently, connect your Phase to a wall outlet with a brick charger delivering 5V/500mA, and monitor the LED strip of the Remote. If the red flash disappears, you will have to use another way to power the unit, such as a USB powered hub. A simple (not powered) hub may prevent the Remote from charging.
On the contrary, if you notice that the Remote red blinks all the time when you power it through an outlet, please get in touch with us by filling up the contact form. Your inquiry will be processed faster if you attach a video showing that the red blink happens when you power the Remote through a wall outlet. We will then get your Remote back to analyze it and exchange it for a new one if need be. We will cover the shipping fees.
